Parma is situated near the Idaho/Oregon border close to where the Boise and Snake Rivers meet. It is a short 15 minute drive from the I-84 that allows its residence and easy commute to the neighboring Treasure Valley communities. The population of Parma is just over 2,000. Parma is home to the Parma Motor-Vu, one of the few remaining operations drive-in movie theaters, and hosts the Old Fort Boise Days festival each year that draws visitors from all over the Valley to learn about the history of the Old Fort Boise.
